Brewing Green Tea
Matcha [powder green tea]
Pour boiled water into a bowl, then cool it down for a few minutes (80C/175F).
Add 1/4 teaspoon of matcha powder. Wet a tea whisk, then whisk for a minutes until you can see a nice green foam.

Genmaicha [savory aroma, harmony of green tea and roasted brown rice]
Use 1-2 tablespoon of tea per serving. Pour boiled water over the tea, steep in teapot for 15 second. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Karigane [twig tea - deep, rich, mellow flavour]
Boil water, then cool it down a little (80°C/176°F). Use 1 tablespoon of tea per serving.
Steep in teapot for 1 min. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Sencha [leaf tea - smooth, pure, refreshing flavour]
Boil water, then cool it down a little (80°C/176°F). Use 1 tablespoon of tea per serving.
Steep in teapot for 1 min. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Shincha [the first flush of Sencha]
Boil water, then cool it down a little (80°C/176°F). Use 1 tablespoon of tea per serving.
Steep in teapot for 1 min. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Houjicha [roasted tea - no caffein]
Use 1-2 tablespoon of tea per serving. Pour boiled water over the tea, steep in teapot for 15 second. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Gyokuro [jewel dew - hand picked, shade grown tea, high grade, very rich flavour loose tea]
Boil water, then cool it down to warm (50°C/122°F). Use 1-2 tablespoon of tea per serving.
Steep in teapot for 3min. Pour all the tea into a tea cup.

Tea Master's TIPs
Pour as much of the tea (last drop) out of the teapot.
Try not to leave excess water in the pot if leaves are being reused.
Use hotter water and steep shorter for 2nd, 3rd serving.
CAUTION
Please be very careful when handling hot water. Scalding may occur.
